Star actress, Rachael Oniga, has finally departed the scene.
Her remains were buried in Lagos on Friday, bringing to a close an era in which her talent and industry blossomed.
Oniga, who was active in at least three branches of Nollywood – English, Igbo and Yoruba, since she was multilingual – died at the age of 63 after a brief illness.
Unfortunately for the industry, another star actor, Victor Olaotan, passed on about the time Oniga being buried.
He had been nursing the severe injuries he sustained during an accident, until he breahted his last, throwing the sector into another round of mourning.
