Juventus have revealed a novel, long-term agreement with Manchester United over Cristiano Ronaldo.
Based on the details, the agreement is one peculiar as it is not only long-term, but also flexible.
According to a statement by the club, there is a main 15m euros to be paid, but over time.
Juventus said: “Juventus Football Club announces that an agreement with Manchester United FC for the definitive disposal of the registration rights of the player Cristiano Ronaldo has been reached for a consideration of 15 million euros payable in five financial years.
“This might be increased, up to a maximum of 8 million euros, upon achievement of specific performance objectives over the duration of the employment contract with the player.”
Meanwhile, Man U have confirmed the completion of the signing of the soccer superstar.
They noted in a statement on Tuesday:
“Manchester United is delighted to confirm the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo on a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further year, subject to international clearance.”
