About two weeks after bandits kidnapped an emir, they have kidnapped another high-profile Nigerian.
He is the father of Zamfara State House of Assembly Speaker, Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, kidnapped alongside seven other people in Magarya village in the Zurmi Local Government Area of the state.
Spokesperson of the Zamfara State Police Command Superintendent Shehu Mohammed reportedly confirmed the incident.
He said the command has deployed additional troops to the affected area to ensure the safe return of the victims.
