Popular actor, Emeka Ike, has disclosed that he and some other colleagues have concluded plans to empower some pupils and teachers in Lagos.

According to him, it is a way of saying that Nollywood is not just about glamour and flamboyance.

In an interview with ‘The Punch’, on the recent Obi Cuban’s flamboyant burial of his mum, Emeka said:

“People can have whatever opinion they want about Nollywood. The industry is diverse and there are many people working in it. The fact that some actors sprayed money there does not mean we should carpet the whole Nollywood. Later this month, we (some actors) are going to commission a computer centre with over 20 computers, desks and accessories at Ejigbo Community High School, Lagos. It is also fitted with a projector screen. We would give awards to the best students in certain subjects, and outstanding teachers.”
