Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, has been arrested.
He was said have been arrested in Cotounu, Benin Republic, when he was about to travel to Germany.
Sources close to him were quoted as saying Igboho has a German passport with 10 years validity but was picked up by security forces in the neighbouring country.
With his arrest, his case becomes similar to that of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, who was also arrested outside Nigeria, with some saying it was in Kenya.
Igboho became a subject of worry to the Nigerian government when he started leading the call for a separate Yoruba nation.
He came into limelight when he confronted Funalis who were said to be terrorising his people in Igangan and other areas in Ibarapa, Oyo State.
