Governors in the southern part of Nigeria have said that Nigeria’s next President should come from the South.
They said the principle of equity demands so since the current President, Muhammadu Buhari, is from the North.
Besides, they said, the peculiarity of Nigerian nationhood makes it imperative.
This is one of the decisions they reached in Lagos on Monday, where they held a meeting hosted by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
