Policemen are giving protesters in Lagos the same treatment they are giving those who gathered in Abuja on the Democracy Day – June 12, 2021.
They were teargassed after they were initially surrounded by the police at the Ojota, Lagos park, named after legendary human rights champion, the late Gani Fawehinmi.
This happened after they started chanting anti-injustice songs, while those in Abuja had insisted ‘Buhari’ must go in their protest.
