Real Madrid’s new scoring delight Karim Benzema, has described departing clubmate, Sergio Ramos as one more than a captain to him.
He said he was a brother and other valuable person a teammate could be.
These are part of Bezema’s parting words to Ramos, who is waving BYE to Madrid.
The club had earlier announced a press conference will be held on Thursday to bid farewell to the defender.
A statement from the club read: “Real Madrid CF announces that tomorrow, Thursday, June 17, at 12:30 pm, there will be an institutional act of tribute and farewell to our captain Sergio Ramos, with the presence of our president Florentino Pérez.”
he Spaniard is set to end his spell at Santiago Bernabeu after 16 years.
Ramos has total appearance of 671 at Real Madrid with 101 goals.
Many of Benzema’s friends and fans have joined him to salute Ramos and to wish him well.
