There is a major dissenting move agaimst the Federal Government’s ban on Twitter as the Generall Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Monday said ot could not stoo him from tweeting.

He reacted to the Federal Government’s suspension of the operations of the micro blogging and social networking service, Twitter.

Adeboye said tweets by his church were in accordance with the United Nations declaration on human rights, irrespective of the suspension of Twitter operations by the federal government.

The Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed had announced the “indefinite” suspension in a statement last week by his spokesman Segun Adeyemi.

Adeboye, while reacting to allegations of flouting FG’s order in a terse statement, said: “The Redeemed Christian Church of God is domiciled in more than 170 Nations & Territories. The tweets here are in accordance to Article 19 of the UN universal declaration of Human Rights.”
