Managing Director of Phenomenal.com.ng, Mr Akeem Lasisi, has met with youth corps members towards grooming them for news reporting.
Phenomenal.com.ng is an online newspaper focusing on news, politics, business, sports and entertainment.
At the meeting held on Monday, May 12, 2021, at the Great Value Classic School, where Lasisi is also the Director, he explained the rudiments of news, saying it must be factual and true.
According to him, a news report should normally answer the questions of who, what, where, when, how and why.
The M.D. started the meeting by explaining what the online newspaper is all about and the roles played by each reporter while displaying the landing page of the website for better understanding.
He also talked about other media channels he is actively involved with, such as Phenomenal English; a YouTube channel that teaches grammar and pronunciation; Akeem Lasisi and the Songbirds; a channel that promotes poetry.
In conclusion, he urged all corps members present to prepare a report of the meeting and submit to him on or before Tuesday morning.
