Rita Dominic had, after a long stretch in the singles’ world, unveiled ‘Daily Times’ Publisher, Fidelis Anosike, as her man.
He noted on Saturday that they are already working on the date of their marriage.
He said on Twitter:
”My Fiancée, @fancyacholonu & I thank you all for the outpour of love & support, from the bottom of our hearts we say thank you & God bless you all.
”On Monday 10th May, we would be officially announcing our wedding dates, happening THIS YEAR!!!’”
Well, before now, many knew that the Nollywood actor who is very fluent in English, Hausa and Igbo is single and had hitherto been private about that aspect of his life. Now, he has said it all, a declaration that is attracting a lot of positive vibes.
Ekubo has been in the limelight for some time. The journey has been rewarding for him but he would just not tie the knot yet. He is believed to currently be one of the most influential and richest actors in Nigeria having an estimated net worth of $1 million.
Alex, as an actor, debuted in the Nigerian Nollywood industry in 2005 in the movie, “Sinners in the House,” which was directed by famous film maker, Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen.
He was first runner up at the Mr Nigeria contest hosted by Silverbird Television (2010) and went ahead to win the Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Icon Academy Movie Awards, 2013.
He was born on the 10th of April, 1986 (age 35 years) and a native of Arochukwu, Abia State.
Nigeria and parented by Mazi Alex Ekubo, a petroleum marketer (father) and Jane Ekubo, a fashion designer (mother).
He attended the Federal Government College Daura in Katsina State. Furtherly, he studied Law at the University of Calabar and later got a diploma in Law from Calabar Polytechnic.
In 2012, Alex won the Most Promising Actor award in Nigeria.
