Nigerian footballer and Leicester forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, is having a great time.
He has not only captured the present, he has also scored a golden goal on the field of history.
On Tuesday night, he made history when he scored a goal for Leister.
The goal itself wasn’t that impactful as the club lost 2-1 to Chelsea.
But it means a lot for Iheanacho’s career and destiny.
It landed him in a hall of fame because with the Tuesday’s goal, he has become the first EPL player to have scored a goal or more on every day of the week.
Super Eagles and Leicester City superstar, Kelechi Iheanacho made history on Tuesday night, May 18, as the first Premier League striker to score on all seven days of the week in a single season.
So important do football pundits consider the stride that ESPN announced it thus:

Reports add that the 24-year-old now boasts 12 goals in 24 Premier League appearances so far in the 2020-21 season. Overall, he is Leicester’s highest goal scorer in all competitions with 19 goals.
Come to think of it.
Here is a player that had practically risen from grace to grass, not in terms of financial power but hope, limelight and goal-scoring.
Apart from floundering in Man City, He had had it so terribly bad even at Leister that he was at a point sentenced into near oblivion.
He could no more score, he could no more be trusted with a shirt.
As a result, he became like a leper at his Nigerian pith too, with the coach avoiding him, dumping him for other boots.
