Another controversy may be brewing over the British political establishment based on a new demand by estranged son, Prince Harry.
He is demanding that his wife, Megan, be included in the official anniversary of his mother.
The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry and his brother Prince William announced back in 2017 that they wished to install a statue in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace in order to honour the 20th anniversary of the death of their mother, Princess Diana.
The statue is said to be installed on the 1st of July, 2021.
Now, Harry is set to return to the UK for this ceremony but has demanded that his wife, Megan Markle, must first be included in the programme.
News report claim that Megan will not be present physically because the couple are expecting their second child but Prince Harry wants her comments to be included in the ceremony or a video of Megan to go out on media channels on the same day the brothers unveil the statue.
The couple officially stepped down from their roles as senior members of the royal family in March 2020.
Prince harry previously had a falling-out with his family especially after the interview he and his wife had with US show host Opray Winfrey in 2021, where he gave some insights about what he and Megan went through while they were still at the royal palace.
