As the funeral programme of Dare, a son of Pastor EA Adeboye, is about to start, more information is emerging about his personality.
Dare was a regional yoth pastor for the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, before he died on May 5, during his sleep.
In an old video interview of his, as released by his brother, Leke, he gave an insight into why he, like his other siblings, are pastors like the renowned dad.
According to him, however, it is not because Adeboye is one.
Rather, the man who said he would have been a footballer if he hadn’t been a pastor, said it must have been predetermined before his birth.
He said: ““I wanted to be a footballer, I wanted to be several other things but looking at the answer my sister just gave about how we all found ourselves as pastors, I guess it was all written before the heavens were created that that is what we were going to be. It was not necessarily because our father and our mother is General Overseer and Mother in Israel.”
In one of the tributes that also shed light on his person, Pastor Daniel Olukoya of the Mountain of Miracle and Fire Ministry, described him as an embodiment of tenderness and grace.
