Popular actor, Saidi Balogun, has said that no one should drag his name into the anger and controversy greeting the allegation of child defilement and rape against fellow actor, Baba Ijesha.
He said in an Instagram video on Thursday evening that that he had not made any statement did not mean that he had anything against the prosecution of the matter.
Giving an indication that some people were dragging him for not having talked, he said he was not the only practitioner who had not spoken about it.
He said: “Am I the only the person that did not talk? Among about 30 associations, only one or two talked.”
He said he supported efforts being made to make the law take its course but people should not harass him.
