An Akure, Ondo State-based woman has been giving the circumstances surrounding her killing her mother.
According to the 30-year-old woman, Blessing Jimoh, she killed her because her pastor said she was a witch.
The police in the state, who paraded Blessing, gave the murdered woman’s name as Ijeoma Odo, with Blessing saying she killed her with a cutlass.
She was paraded alongside other criminals, while the the Pastor was said to be on the run.
Bose, who committed the offence in Ile-Oluji in the state, said: “It was something doing me that make me kill my mother. I am not happy with what I did.
“I cut her neck with a cutlass. It was a Pastor that said she was witch and l went to beg her. My mother is from Enugu State. We have been looking for the Pastor but we have not seen him.”
Ondo Police Commissioner, Bolaji Salami, said the suspect would soon be charged to court.
