Hadiza, wife of Kaduna Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, has given an indication that the man will no more pay kidnappers ransom no matter the circumstance.
There is anxiety in the state and beyond over the kidnapping of 39 students who have been with bandits since about two weeks ago.
They were kidnapped from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Igabi Local Government Area.
El-Rufai has said he will not pay ransom, even as the kidnappers threaten the captives while their parents panic, with one of them (parents) having fainted and died.
But on Monday Hadiza jokingly apparently spoke her husband’s mind in a tweet about her visit to a farm.
She noted: “At my farm today. Anyone thinking of ** me should not bother. The man has already warned me that he will not pay any ******.”
