FCMB’s Managing Director, Adam Nuru, has said that he he has decided to go on leave.
According to him, he is doing this to ensure that the process of the investigation being conducted by the Board of the bank over his alleged fathering of a married co-worker is not compromised.
Besides, he said, he needed to protect the bank.
This is contained in a memo he was said to have sent to staff as he proceeded on leave on Tuesday.
Nuru has been accused of having an affair with Moyo Thomas, who was an employee of FCMB until about two years ago.
She was married to one Tunde Thomas, who died about two weeks ago, after suffering depression.
Moyo was said to have told Tunde that their two children was fathered by Nuru.
