This is America’s day – Joe Biden says at inauguration

Joe Biden has been sworn in as the 46th American President.
In his ongoing inaugural speech, he declared, “This is America’s day. This is democracy’s day.
“America has risen to the challenge. Today we celebrate the cause of democracy.
“We’ve learnt again that democracy is precious. Democracy is fragile. Democracy has prevailed.
“This is a great nation. We have come so far.”
He noted that America was facing a challenging time but its capacity to overcome it was enormous.
He said the country had a history of difficulties and ultimate victories.
He thus urged all to join forces to further triumph.
“This is our historic moment of crises and challenge.
We will never fail. We have never, ever failed in America,” he said.
