Lovers may have lessons to learn from the experience of Lagos-based comedian, popularly called Princess.

The comedian with the full name, Oluwadamilola Adekoya, got married to film producer, Jeremiah Adeshola, in 2013 but the feel never lasted.

Indeed, the marriage passes for one of the most short-lived, if not the shortest in the celebrity industry in Nigeria.

It, for example, lasted only two weeks.

Such an adventure too brief would remind observers of similar ones like the one that Funke first experienced.

Of course, actress Ini Edo’s too w did not endure.

Reflecting on her experience on Wednesday, Princess said if she was wise enough by then, she would not have had she nasty experience she had.
According to her, there were reasons for her to stop the marriage from happening, saying it was less difficult to manage a failed engagement than a failed marriage.

She said:

I take the blame for the failure because it shouldn’t have happened. I was stupid, plain and simple.”

Princess implied that she went into the union blindly

You know I am a romantic. Love is not enough. A counsellor said to us it is better to have a broken engagement than to have a broken marriage. Automatically I said we have given out IVs. How are we going to do that? When it happened, the first thought that came to my head was that we should have just cancelled since that was my birthday.”
