Celebrated actress, Funke Akindele, has expressed her desire to be more patient in 2021.
According to her, she will listen more and talk less.
She is not known to be a lazy talkative, but the award-winning actress committed a needless blunder in 2020.
That was when she and her husband hosted his birthday party in their Lagos home, against the rule and wisdom of coronavirus.
So bad was the situation for her that she was handed a mild sentence.
Good for her, however, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has granted her pardon.
Perhaps this is part of what informed her craving for more patience.
She notes in an interview with ‘The Punch’: “For me, 2021 will be a year that I will be more patient and make life easier. I will have more time for family; that is majorly my plan. My New Year resolution for 2021 will be to take things easier and rest more. I will listen more and talk less.”
She, however, reveals that she will remain productive too:
“My plans for 2021 include churning out good content. I would not want to divulge major ones but we have Aiyetoro Town, Mama Put, which is a series, and other movies coming up. I will not want to reveal the major one.”
