In fulfilment of the a threat by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the Federal Government has released details of the passports of the 100 passengers it barred from travelling outside the country.
The 100 were said to have flouted COVID-19 protocols and the government said it had reached a point the big stick must rise.
The 100 travellers failed to undergo the compulsory COVID-19 test after returning into the country.
In a tweet on Saturday, the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 said:
“The PTF has placed travel restrictions on the first 100 passengers for non-compliance to the mandatory Day 7 post-arrival COVID-19 test.
“The restrictions started from January 1, 2021, and would last till June 30, 2021.
