Chief of Protocol to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Mr Tosin Ogunbodede, has died in a road accident.
Chief Press to the Governor, Segun Ajiboye, confirmed this to phenomenal.com.ng in an interview on Sunday.
Ogunbodede died alongside his driver.
The crash was said to have occurred along Ilesha Road at about 9:15 pm on Saturday.
They were rushed to the Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, Osun State, where they were confirmed dead.
Ogunbodede, a lawyer, was appointed as Chief of Protocol to the Governor in 2017.
