Nigerian star singer, Wizkid, has stolen the heart of US former President, Barrack Obama, and his daughter Sasha.
This is evident in a list of songs that Obama has just published as his 30 best for 2020, with Wizkid’s ‘Essence’, being one of them.
Wizkid features Tems in the song.
Here is how Obama announced this in a tweet on Saturday: “Here are some of my favourite songs of the year. As usual, I had some valuable consultation from our family music guru, Sasha, to put this together. I hope you find a new song or two to listen to.”
Other top musicians in the list are Megan Thee Stallion, J Cole, H.E.R, Travis Scott, etc.
About a decade he hit the limelight, Wizkid has continued to blossom home and abroad.
