Director-General of the National Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has distanced herself from a tweet that the over 300 pupils abducted in Katsina have been rescued.
The tweet emanating from her account sparked widespread joy but it was soon deleted, suggesting it was not yet Uhuru.
Commenting later, Dabiri-Erewa said the post was made when she was not in control of her handle.
She tweeted:
”Pls don’t credit any post on katsina boys to my twitter handle. I lost control of my handle in the last couple of minutes, along with my Instagram. I have recovered and changed my password.”
