As some Nollywood stars endorse Gideon Okeke’s battle against film executives who, according to him, impoverish Nigerian actors, he has lashed out at the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
According to him, the leadership of the guild is culpable.
He launched a fierce ranting on Tuesday, saying the film executives do not carry the actors along in the gains of the trade.
He said Nigerian musicians were at a great advantage compared to them who, he stressed, bury poverty under trendy outlooks.
While actresses such as Ireti Doyle, Hilda Dokubo and Kiki Omeili have expressed support for him, a stakeholder, Adigi Zibala, rather advised him to liaise with the DGN.
