A former Senator, Dino Melaye, has told former President Goodluck Jonathan that he was blind when he joined other people to shoot at his government.
He apologised to Jonathan in Abuja on Tuesday, when a book on him (Jonathan) was launched.
Although the country was far from being in the best of shape during Jonathan’s government, more people are finding the urrent state of things, with the Buhari governmeny, far being unbearable.
Such people are thus comparing and saying Jonathan might still have been allowed to stay.
Among them is Melaye, who said at the book launch:
”Having seen what you did as President and the sorry state of our country today, I want to publicly say once I was blind, now I can see. On behalf of all of us who shot blindly, we are sorry. Very very sorry.”
