A former Minister of State for Education, Prof. Jerry Agada, has passed away.
Agada died in Makurdi, Benue State on Tuesday, after being sick for about two weeks.
He was 68.
Agada, a former President of the Association of Nigerian Authors.
While his family has yet to make an official statement, friends and associates of the deceased are fondly remembering him as a ‘very good’ human being.
These include fellow writers who are, for instance, commenting on a post in which journalist and writer, Heni Akubuiro, mourned him on Facebook.
