Armed robbers who invaded a Union Bank branch in Irele, Ondo State, operated for about 45 minutes.
While someone was said to have been killed by stray bullets, they were said to have carted away a large sum of money, the specific amount of which has not been disclosed.
Reports said the robbers broke the bank’s security door with a device suspected to be dynamite.
Although police in the state have confirmed the incident, they said full information was not yet available, with the Police PRO, Tee-Leo Ikoro, aying he was awaiting such from the DPO.
