Leader of Boko Haram insurgents, Shekau, has said that killing him will not stop Boko Haram war.
He, however, also boasted that it was impossible for the Nigerian Army to arrest him.
He said this in a video after the army declared him wanted again, alongside other leaders of the protracted war.
He was quoted as saying in the 30-minute video he released, as seen by HumAngle:
“Nobody can apprehend me because I’m doing God’s work. He will protect me like those doing similar work and seeking His protection. I’m very sure God will protect my commanders. We are all doing God’s work.
“Arresting me will not stop the work we started. What confuses you is you think the religion is mine but it belongs to Allah.”
