Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said that he and President Muhammadu Buhari have not been able to speak since Tuesday evening when people to be soldiers opened fire on #ENDSARS protesters in Lekki, Lagos.

He said on Thursday that he had called the President’s phone number twice but he (Buhari) was busy, saying the second time, the President was at the Federal Executive meeting.

Speaking on ‘Arise Television’ during an ongoing programme, he said a call he got from the leadership of the military must, however, have been initiated by the President.

Many are still alarmed that youths protesting peacefully were shot, with many wounded while some fatalities were also said to have been recorded.
