A teenager, Babawo Yusuf, on Friday appeared in a Grade I Area Court, Nyanya, FCT, over alleged extortion an stealing of two cell phones worth N258,000.
The police charged Yusuf, who resides in Mpape, Abuja with a two counts of criminal conspiracy and Extortion.

The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Chief Magistrate Abdullahi Ogedengbe admitted Yusuf to bail in the sum of N200,000.
Ogedengbe ordered the defendant to produce one surety, who must be a civil servant on Grade Level
He adjourned the case until Sept. 17 for hearing.
