Mr Ali Isah has assumed office as the new Controller for the Nigerian Correctional Service, Yobe Command.
Mr Haruna Isa, the command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) announced this in a statement on Tuesday in Damaturu.
He said that the Controller assumed duty at the command headquarters on Monday, August 31.
The PRO said that until his deployment to the state, Isah was a Director Staff at the Correctional Staff College in Barnawa, Kaduna State.
Isa, therefore, solicited the cooperation and support of residents to the new Controller to enable the service achieve its statutory goals of reformation, rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders as better citizens.
