A Yaba Chief Magistrate on Thursday ordered a 26-year-old scavenger, Nasa Abba, to sweep the court premises for three hours for disturbing the peace.

Adebola did not give the convict an option of fine.

Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Sgt. Godwin Oriabure told the court that the convict committed the offence on July 20 at 1a.m., at Ezikiel St., Ikeja.

Oriabure said that the convict brought some vagrants to his friend’s street and constituted a nuisance in the area.

He said the residents on the street reported the case to the police and the defendant was arrested.

The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of sections 411 and 168 (d) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015 (Revised).
