All Progressives Congress chief in Edo State, Patrick Obahiagbon, has said that Governor Godwin Obaseki has his knees on the neck of democracy in the state.
Obahiagbon seems to be echoing the fate that befell African American George Floyd on whose neck a former cop Chauvin knelt, following which he died.
Speaking in Benin on Friday, over the crisis in the state House o Assembly, Obahiagbon said Obaseki was behind the disturbance, noting that the APC legislators had the upper hand because they were 17 as against the Peoples Democratic Party’s 7.
