The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State has lost another politician as the Chairman of the Onigbongbo Local Government Development Authority, Babatunde Oke, is dead.
Oke, a second-term chairman, died in Lagos this morning (Wednesday).
This happened weeks after the party lost other politicians that include Bayo Osinowo and Tunde Braimoh.
Although some reports said Oke died of COVID-19 like Osinowo and Braimoh, one of his aides, Bisi Anifowose, told Phenomenal.com.ng that he did not have the virus.
“He did this morning but he did not have COVID,” he told our correspondent in a telephone chat.
