As reports emerged on Friday that the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, may have been flown abroad to get treatment for an ailment, her aide, Abdullahi Aliyu, has said that there is no emergency as far as her health is concerned.
Some platforms, including ‘Sahara Reporters’ and ‘The Punch, report that she had a neck-related complication.
Although Aliyu said he was not aware whether or not Aisha is on the trip, he was quoted as saying, “I have not been to the Villa for the last two weeks so I cannot say for sure if she is in the country or not. However, I can categorically tell you that there is no emergency.”
According to Sahara Reporters, Mrs. Buhari was flown out of the country during the Sallah holiday last week after complaining of neck pain for about two weeks before that time.
