Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, is still being expected at the National Assembly Abuja, where he is to appear before a committee investigating alleged sleaze in the commission.
The meeting is supposed to start at 11 am.
Last week, former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Joi Nunieh, testified and said that the commission spent N8bn under her, as against the about N81bn the Central bANK OF Nigeria alleged it did.
She also accused Akpabio of putting unholy financial pressure on her.
