Toke Makinwa kicks as rumour flies round that AMCON has confiscated her Banana Island home

OAP Toke Makinwa is poised to battle those saying her Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos home has been taken over by the Assets Management Company of Nigeria – AMCON.

There were reports, especially on Twitter, on Monday, that one certain man who allegedly gave her the house had trouble with banks.

It was, however, a very angry Makinwa that debunked the rumour, saying she is the sole owner of her property, while also threatening a legal action against the behind the assertion.

Here is a statement by his publicis, Andrea Manuela Giaccaglia:

”On behalf of Ms. Toke Makinwa, we would like to address the rumour circulating the internet that Ms. Toke Makinwa’s alleged house in Banana Island was taken over by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).

Ms. Toke’s is the sole owner of her residence in Ikoyi.

Our lawyers have been contacted and legal action will be taken against the originators of this story.
