The battle line gas again been drawn between Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and a former Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede, who emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party late Wednesday.
Jegede, who had also tackled Akeredolu in 2016, got 888 votes to beat incumbent deputy governor of the state, Agboola Ajayi and Eddy Olafeso who garnered 657 and 175 votes respectively in the PDP primary.
Others scores are Bode Ayorinde (95 votes), Ben Okunomo (90 votes), Boluwaji Kunlere (33 votes), Sola Ebiseni (29 votes) and Eruwa Godday who polled 14 votes.
