Three suspected cult members and oil thieves are now in police net in Rivers State after allegedly burying three people alive.
The suspects, Barididum Danaa aka ‘Kill and Bury’ and his accomplice, Prophet Nkpe, were said to have done so as a punishment for the victims whom they believe were police informants.
According to the state police, the victims were Baridomale Sunday Tor, Baridon Gbarabera and Barisiton Nawee, with the police adding that they were said to have been buried alive with their mouths and hands tied by their abductors on March 14.
“Following months of detailed investigation, two suspected cultists, Barididum Danaa, aka ‘kill and bury’ and his accomplice, Prophet Nkpe, both members of the dreaded Degbam Cult group, were arrested and they led men of the Anti-cultism Unit of the Police Command to the area where the three bodies were exhumed,” reports added.
