The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) Edo Command Multi-purpose cooperative limited on Monday inaugurated a new executive committee to steer its affairs for the next two years.
At the event in Benin, Mr Joseph Usendiah, Controller of Corrections who is also the patron of the cooperative society advised the committee members to foster togetherness.
Usendiah also stressed the need for the committee to be objective and fair in their dealings and operate within the established bye-laws.
He further admonished them to forge ahead as a united committee and a united cooperative society.
The eight member executive committee were presented with their certificate of return by the chairman of the cooperative electoral body, Mrs Philomena Emeniola.
She charged them to ensure that their victory also translate to forgiveness, tolerance and further progress for the society.
Responding on behalf of other members, Mrs Rebecca Aisen, President, thanked all stakeholders for their commitment, time and support to the cooperative society in the bid to secure and ensure its progress.
She expressed her team willingness to move the society to a greater height.
