Popular gospel singer Tope Alabi, has spoken on her experience during the ongoing COVID-19 disruptions.

Like many other artstes, her activities have been restricted especially in terms of performance trips.

Narrating how the situation has hit her, she recalls that coronavirus struck when she was just starting her annual international music tour.

According to her, she had spent a lot of money on adverts while many people had bought tickets.

But the show had to stop, she notes.

But she says there has been some positive side to the pandemic:

“It has been a time to get back to God. A time to sit down and get more ideas. When there was no lockdown, we were up and down,” she explains.

On health matters, she tells ‘Channels Television’ in an interview that she has learnt to be always precautious: “Even after coronavirus might have left, I will still be carrying my mask and sanitiser to anywhere there is a crowd.”
