Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, and some of his aides have tested positive for coronavirus.
This was confirmed in a statement Umhai personally signed on Saturday.
According to Channels TV, Umahi said they are not showing any symptoms but has since isolated themselves in line with protocols by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Umahi also appealed to the people of Ebonyi state to take the NCDC protocols more seriously while stating that he’s working from home and will conduct all meetings virtually.
