Commissioner for Health in Ondo State, Dr. Wahab Adegbenro, has died.
He was said to have died of COVID-19, at the state infectious disease hospital in Akure.
The development has been confirmed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Segun Ajiboye.
His death came two days after Governor Rotimi Akeredolu announced that he had tested positive for COVID- 19.
Adegbenro was a native of Ilara-Mokin in Ifedore Local Government Area of the state.
