So also is his wife, Edith.
This happened days after one of their daughters tested positive for the pandemic.
“My wife and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are well and continuing with our isolation/medication. We thank you all for your continued prayers for us and our daughter,” Okowa tweeted.
only on Tuesday, Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, announced he had tested positive, although he added he was asymptomatic.
Earlier, four other governors had got infected but survived the disease.
These include Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Seyin Makinde of Oyo State and Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna.
