A National Youth Service Corps member on primary assignment in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has been gang-raped by two persons.
The spokesman of the Command, CSP Nnudam Fredrick, disclosed this in a statement in Uyo on Tuesday.
Fredrick gave the names of the suspects as Ofonime Essien and Frank Okon.
He said the men carried out the act when the Corps member went to charge her phone in their house.
He said the suspects had confessed to the crime and would soon be charged to court.
He warned perpetrators of such acts to desist forthwith or face the full wrath of the law.
