Seasoned actor and producer, Muyiwa Ademola, has said that no lady can claim that he ever raped her.
He is indeed challenging anyone that would say so or that he did anything close to rape to come to the open and say so.
He said it was the certainty that he had never comproised with any woman that gave him the boldness to be campaigning against rape.
Ademola producer of ‘Ori, among other movies, said a strategic way he had been campaigning against the scourge was via his Instahram platform where he had been spreading the crusade of real men don’t rape.
In an interview on ‘My view’ on TVC on Friday, the actor challenged all men to come out so boldly if they are sure of thei records.
He said by his coming out to campaign against rape, any woman he might have assaulted would have come out to accuse him of doing so.
The actor/producer born in 1971 in Abeokuta, Ogun State, had, with his 2005 ‘Obi’ (fate) won the best indigenous film at the 1st Africa Movie Academy Awards. In 2008, he was nominated for the 4th Africa Movie Academy Awards for Most Outstanding Indigenous Actor.
According an online profile, he joined the Nigerian film industry through Charles Olumo, popularly known as Agbako, based in his hometown, Abeokuta. He later met a movie director called S.I Ola who taught him acting and movie production. He began his acting career fully in 1991.
In 1995, Ademola produced his first ever written script into a movie titled Asise, meaning blunder in English. The production was sponsored by Dibel, who deals in generating sets. Since 1995, he has produced, directed and featured in several Yoruba Nollywood movies.
He attended St. David’s High School at Molete in Ibadan where he obtained the West Africa Secondary School Certificate. The producer, whose latest work is entitled ‘Gbarada’, later proceeded to the University of Ibadan where he obtained a Bachelor of Education degree in Adult education.
