Star singer, Yemi Alade, has declared that she is heartbroken.
This, however, is not because of any personal loss to the ‘Johnny’ singer.
She is devastated by the news of deaths swirling round the country, and she says there is the need for all to be concerned.
And Nigeria is witnessing deaths, too many deaths, really.
Apart from those dying from coronavirus, multiples dying in attacks by insurgents and bandits, no fewer than four Nigerian journalists died in the past one month.
Alade laments on her Twitter handle:
”Lord God, please save us all from the evil hands of untimely death, rebuke the hand that poisons a brother’s drink or food.
I’m just heartbroken! The number of deaths from poison have SPIKED IN NIGERIA ! TRUST NO ONE EVEN WITH WATER! Devil has opened workshop in the minds of people!”
Also among those who recently died are ace broadcaster, Dan Foster and former beauty queen, Ibidun Ighodalo.
