Facts are emerging on the death of Ibidun Ighodalo, wife of popular pastor, Itua Ighodalo.
The family have confirmed the incident, saying burial arrangement would be announced later.
BBC quotes the ex-beaty queen’s associate and business manager, Lawal Nurudeen, as saying she slept in the hotel she stayed in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday night bit was found dead on Sunday morning.
Although there is no autopsy yet. Nurudeen’s account suggests she died in her sleep.
Meanwhile, the family said in a statement on Sunday: “The Ighodalo and Olaleye Ajayi families are deeply saddened to announce the sudden loss of our beloved wife and daughter Mrs. Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo who passed away in the early hours of today.
“As you will understand, this is a difficult time for our families and we will appreciate some privacy during this time. All information on burial proceedings will be provided in due course.”
